Sometimes there are occasions when you want to get away, but for one reason or another you are unable to travel away from home. As books do for avid readers, video games can provide and at-home traveling experience for the gamer.

With the advancements in graphics many games resemble places we’ve seen or at least seen images of. Of course there are those that provide a whole new land that’s never been seen before which provides mystery and intrigue to your game traveling.

Pretty much any open world game will give you such an experience. One of my favorites is Horizon: Zero Dawn, showing the world in a post- apocalyptic world brought to life on the screen and the journey you travel with the main character, Aloy. What games do you play that you travel to when you need a break from reality?
