It is not easy being a creative who loves what you do, but doesn't have an organizational system. Anyone who is a creative should have a notebook, binder, or journal from which they keep all the things they need for their creative endeavors.

NaNoWriMo is Just Around the Corner…
NaNoWriMo begins on November 1st every year and runs until November 30th. Authors from all walks of life are welcome to join thousands of others who wish to start their first, fifth, or hundredth story.

When I start a new story, I tend to have an idea for the main character in mind before the story actually starts or is planned out. What they look like, their personality, etc.

Is Your Story Real?
He said, "I love how Tolkien wrote is books as if they were real." That stuck with me because I wanted that experience for my readers. I want them to finish feeling as though the story was real.
